Position Overview The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The role involves working on various HVAC equipment and ensuring optimal performance to provide a comfortable environment for clients. The technician will also troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC controls and components, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, pumps, and dehumidification units. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC controls and equipment such as Johnson and Siemens systems. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning. Manage water pumps, VFD, actuators, and valves in HVAC applications. Install and maintain ductwork, fans, and exhaust systems for optimal air flow and ventilation. Conduct assessments of heating and cooling systems for efficiency and safety compliance. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance plans. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred. Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and components including semi-hermetic systems and circuit configurations. Familiarity with DDC and pneumatic control systems. Ability to work with various HVAC tools and equipment safely and effectively.
