Description Offal Superintendent (Greeley) Position Overview This position will be responsible for all aspects of variety meat product development, management, and performance at the JBS-Greeley beef facility. This position will work collaboratively with the harvest floor superintendents. This position will work closely with the facility technical services, purchasing, packaging, training, scheduling, and shipping teams to ensure proper variety meat production. Position Responsibilities Responsible for all aspects of safety training, monitoring, compliance, and execution within the variety meats department across both A & B shift Responsible for maintaining both management and hourly crewing to specified levels Monitor, audit, and ensure products are made to company specifications Ensure ongoing training on product quality and performance is occurring Collaborate with local IT and accounting to ensure accuracy of production information Participate in NPR approvals in collaboration with the product manager Responsible for all aspects of customer service and production schedule accuracy Work in unison with product manager on product samples Identify, recommend, and follow up on yield and value improvement opportunities Responsible for proper reconciliation of daily production Ownership over customer complaints and claims with objective to minimize/eliminate Utilize data and reports to ensure continuous improvement of KPI matrix and any supporting measurements Directly responsible for the cost of the department across both shifts Directly responsible for product yield performance Responsible for regulatory compliance in the variety meats department on both shifts Responsible for adherence to HACCP program, CCPs, and SOPs encompassing the variety meats department Ensure compliance to environmental programs Skills and Experience Minimum of five years industry experience Food manufacturing experience (preferably beef production) Experience with Microsoft Excel Ability to learn other software and data management systems in the facility Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic and solid availability Must be a self-starter Must have solid motivational skills Must uphold and instill the company's core values EDUCATION: Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field; however, additional related work experience will be considered in lieu of the education requirement. EXPERIENCE : Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Must be able to work additional hours/weekends as needed. Bilingual preferred. The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits: Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment; Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays; 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule Base salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 This position is eligible to participate in the Company's annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program.
