Contract Duration: 6-months potential to extend Worksite Location: Rigby, ID Compensation: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour What you’ll do as an HR Coordinator: Support and lead HR activities including interviewing, policy enforcement, new hire onboarding, training, and employee relations Facilitate orientation sessions, coordinate facility tours, and manage communication with new hires and leadership Organize and maintain personnel records in compliance with legal and company standards Support documentation and tracking of employee relations issues and disciplinary actions Oversee employee performance standards in areas such as productivity, safety, and quality Manage and update HR systems with transactions related to hiring, terminations, compensation changes, and internal moves Prepare materials to support HR processes including onboarding packets, benefits guides, and recruiting materials Design marketing collateral to support recruiting and community engagement initiatives Address employee inquiries and assist in navigating HR-related issues in partnership with leadership Audit and process payroll and timecards Lead and support initiatives that promote a positive work environment and drive employee engagement Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and support consistent policy enforcement Participate in continuous improvement efforts within HR and operational workflows Represent the company in community relations activities and outreach Assist with other projects and responsibilities as needed What you’ll bring to the HR Coordinator role: High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree and/or HR certification preferred Prior HR experience and knowledge of HR practices and employment law Strong judgment, communication, and organizational skills Excellent problem-solving ability and customer service orientation Ability to collaborate effectively in both in-person and virtual settings Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with HR software and payroll systems preferred Flexibility to work 30–40 hours per week in a distribution and office environment Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as needed As an equal opportunity employer, Dahl Consulting welcomes candidates of all backgrounds and experiences to apply.
