*Accounting Specialist *Our client is seeking a helpful temporary Accounting Specialist to assist the team! The idea accounting specialist is skilled in various areas of accounting, has ample expeirence, comfortable learning new accounting software quickly, and has a self-starter attitude. This temporary assignment is expected to last for approximately 2 months minimum. * * *Tasks / Responsibilities:* * Organizing/filing past years fixed asset records * Tracking and reporting on current year fixed asset additions/disposals, etc. including entering in our fixed asset software system, and preparing asset roll forward schedules * CIP tracking and reporting - capitalizing those projects that are finished * Bank reconciliations / Spreadsheet reconciliations * Checking permits and matching accounting ERP to identify errors * Other subsidiary ledger reconciliations * Journal entries * Spreadsheet entry/updating * Assist with any administrative tasks: Filing, Organizing, etc. *Software* * Excel: Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formatting *Qualifications* * Government accounting experience is a major plus * Degree not required for 5-7 years preferred in order to hit the ground running * Good Judgment on problem solving and asking necessary questions * Detail Oriented & Organized * Self-Starter * Customer Service Oriented - good at working with internal departments * Timely Team Player * Good Work Ethic * Ask for more work or to assist with additional tasks * *INMAY2025 LIONSITE ZRCFS
