Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Stratham, New Hampshire to bring on Yard Drivers. Lindt is looking to fill two direct hire positions, one on 2nd shift and one on 3rd shift, supporting yard operations and warehouse material flow across the campus.
Position: Yard Driver
Job Type: Direct Hire
Shift / Pay (Total Rates):
• 2nd Shift: $23.00/hr + 10% differential = $25.30 per hour
• 3rd Shift: $23.00/hr + 20% differential = $27.60 per hour
Duties / Responsibilities
• Safely operate yard trucks and maneuver trailers within a busy campus environment
• Transfer loaded and unloaded trailers between buildings
• Back trailers to loading docks, secure trailers, and open bay doors
• Observe posted speed limits and follow all yard safety procedures
• Communicate with Supervision and the Shipping Office regarding trailer moves
• Document all trailer movements and perform equipment inspections
• Ensure trailer refrigeration units are properly set and operating
• Conduct inventory of empty trailers in the yard and at dock doors
• Assist warehouse associates with loading and unloading trailers as needed
Alternate Responsibilities
• When not performing yard duties, support warehouse operations as a Material Specialist
• Transport pallets to and from production areas
• Assist with order selection, container loading, and unloading
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
• 1+ year of tractor trailer experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• High level of responsibility, accountability, and punctuality
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs
• Ability to walk frequently and work outdoors and in refrigerated environments
