Position Summary

Gravity Haus is looking for an energetic and outgoing Bartender. The ideal candidate maintains a positive attitude and is driven to provide outstanding customer experiences.

What You’ll Do…

• Welcome all guests and ensure they are given responsive, professional and gracious service at all times. 
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow team members as situations arise to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations. 
• Create magical experiences for guests within the short window of service. 
• Listen well and answer guest inquiries. 
• Maximize sales and ensure the return of the guest. 
• Participate in all educational events provided.
• Provide mentorship of the new staff members.
• Push yourself to grow your knowledge of food and beverage.
• Perform all side work applicable to assigned stations and checking areas for any work that has gone unattended.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times. 
• Prepare simple to advanced cocktails with precision and consistency amounting to the highest standards.
• Verify identification and age requirements of customers
• Process payment from customers
• Clean glasses and bar utensils
• Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
• Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
• Build a rapport with regular customers and members to create a positive atmosphere
• Be educated and act as an expert on all products served by the restaurant.

Education and Experience…

• 1 year experience bartending preferred
• 1 year experience in customer service

Physical Requirements…

• Ability to stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
