Our Large Healthcare Client is Looking to Hire a Patient Service Representative for a 2 MONTH, ONSITE, W2 CONTRACT - APPLY TODAY! CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO GAHANNA, OH. AS THIS IS AN ONSITE ROLE $$: $18-20/hr. DOE Responsibilities: Answer phones, respond to inquiries, direct calls, or document messages for medical staff Retrieve and route voicemails Provide general information such as address, directions, and office details Schedule appointments and verify patient demographics and insurance Enter appointment data into the electronic practice management system (EPM) Contact patients to remind them of appointments Distribute new patient information packets and assist with form completion Greet and direct patients, vendors, and visitors Check patients in, verify insurance eligibility, and obtain copies of insurance cards Enter and retrieve patient data from the computer system Confirm insurance eligibility using available tools Collect, record, and process payments; prepare transaction reports Sort and route mail and publications Conduct patient outreach as assigned Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required Medical office or customer service experience preferred Skills and Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with diverse populations, including individuals who are ill or upset Basic math proficiency Ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot issues Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email systems, and web-based programs Ability to handle multiple tasks at once Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Able to sit, stand, and move intermittently throughout the day Visual, auditory, and manual dexterity required Occasionally able to lift or carry up to 15 pounds Ability to operate standard office equipment Capable of communicating via phone, email, and in person Pride Global offers eligible employee's comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.
